Global Relay’s New York office is a hub for digital communication and compliance, occupying five floors at the top of one of the iconic New York buildings. The office design incorporates double glazed systems with curved glass in the central core zone to create a flowing circulation area marked by a seamless terrazzo finish. Great attention has been paid to the integrated work walls and whiteboard walls which are inset in the glass partitions retaining the acoustic insulation values of the walls and doors.
Special applications have been developed for dedicated areas, double stacked glass partitions for the conference room and the broadcasting studio features a treble insulted glass entry screen using a new magnetic levitation technology for sliding doors to ensure ADA compliance.
