Lichen walls are a convenient alternative option to bring nature to a workplace. Real lichens, a type of moss, undergo a special preservation process using glycerine and non-toxic resin to hold their shape and texture. Preserved lichens are no longer living plants, do not require watering, trimming or sunlight, whilst maintaining the beneficial visual properties of a real living plant. They are installed onto a particle board or a plastic modular panel and can be used to liven up a bare wall or to create a natural barrier to separate functional spaces.
